New Adventures for Bee Sinichko!

We are saddened to announce the departure of WeedWise Specialist and CWMA Coordinator, Bee Sinichko.

Bee has been an important member of the WeedWise team.  Bee’s work has supported the 4-County CWMA and the Columbia Gorge CWMA and has managed our invasive species control efforts in the Sandy River Watershed. Although Bee was with us for only a short period of time, they had a big impact on our program and our work.

Prior to joining the WeedWise program, Bee worked as an adjunct professor at Portland State University.  Bee also completed their Master’s in Environmental Management by completing a graduate research project predicting invasive plant regeneration in post-fire landscapes.  This work was focused on the Riverside fire and was carried out in cooperation with the WeedWise program.  So Bee has been influencing our work before they even started with us.

Bee has been a great person to work with, and we will miss their wit and humor.  Bee is an amazing person and absolutely fearless. Many thanks to Bee for their service to our program and to Clackamas County. We wish Bee all the best in their next adventure!

Happy Trails Bee!
